Encouraging Engagement

Dear TCS Family,
We have such a rich and vibrant culture, at any given time there are so many activities, initiatives, going on within the organisation, so please participate , stay engaged, stay involved and be pro active, bring your ideas so that we can add more value not just relying upon our employees but of course primarily relying on our customers and all our external stake holders and to the economy at large.
TCS is a thought leader. TCS is also a company that prides itself on contributing to the environment, to the social sector, our recent collaboration with Special Olympics as an example of the care that TCS shows, and similarly we have a culture of staying engaged with our employees and that is exemplified by not just the social events, the iftaris that were held during Ramzan but also the Connect to Communicate 2 day conference, so in the same spirit that you see in this magazine or in this newsletter in your daily life please stay engaged with all those around whether it is your junior staff, senior staff , customers or the outside world.

Thank you,
Saira Awan

Dear TCS Family,

As we embark on the journey of our second issue of TCS Bytes, I’m thrilled to witness the enthusiasm and engagement that has marked our first edition. Your stories, your events, and your snapshots have painted a vibrant tapestry of our company’s spirit, echoing across regions and departments.

Today, I want to extend a special call to action—one that encapsulates the very essence of who we are: service. We all know that TCS isn’t just about delivering parcels and documents; it’s about delivering excellence, care, and value to every client, every time. And who better to exemplify this commitment than our couriers, retail outlet colleagues, customer care heroes—the unsung champions of our company?

I urge each one of you to keep your eyes and ears open for those moments of extraordinary service, those instances where our colleagues go above and beyond to uphold our values, while delivering service. Whether it’s a customer care agent lending a compassionate ear, a courier braving adverse conditions to ensure timely delivery, or any other act of service that reflects our ethos—capture it, celebrate it, and share it with us.

Let’s make TCS Bytes not just a newsletter, but a testament to our collective dedication and excellence. Your stories are the heartbeat of our organization, and by sharing them, you inspire us all to reach higher, do better, and serve greater.

On a closing note, I’d like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Natasha and all Internal Communication colleagues. Natasha, your diligence, and keen awareness in curating and presenting these stories have brought us all closer together, shining a light on the incredible work being done across our company. Thank you all for your unwavering commitment—it’s because of individuals like you that TCS continues to thrive.

Together, let’s keep the spirit of service alive in every corner of our organization.

Warm regards,

JJ

Did you know?

The first courier bike prototype, built on a Honda CD70, debuted in November 1996, signaling the impending departure from the official Vespa Policy. Built above this bike was the box that would later become a familiar sight from 2001 onwards. Although it was built, the front cowl that matched the box was not included in the 2001 rollout. Also, the shift to totally red bikes and fleet vehicles happened in 2002 so in 1996 the box still had red over white decals.

Such communications always keeps everyone updated on happening within TCS and with customers.
Also nothing more satisfying than efforts made to deliver Eid packages before Eid being acknowledged by customers on their social media.
A big thank to nationwide teams on ground and couriers going extra-mile to deliver happiness.

I think this was a much needed platform to be informed on what is happening in our TCS family; my suggestion is that in every big leap there should be atleast one courier thoughts about the overall company steps taken towards betterment of them to avoid any conflict between them and upper management.
