Meet and Greet session with the Chairman
HR organized an exclusive meet and greet session for Management Trainee Officers (MTOs) with the Chairman, Mr. Khalid Awan. He shared his wisdom on the Company’s culture, emphasizing the importance of rewarding hard work, honesty, innovation and growth. He posed a thought-provoking question to the MTOs on the future of TCS, sparking a lively discussion on their ideas and suggestions for the company’s development. He actively engaged with the MTOs, taking note of each idea and appreciating their feedback.

Grow & Win Championship
The Rahim Yar Khan dedicated team won first place in the recently announced sales competition/campaign “Grow & Win,” and was named Champion of the South Region. The team celebrated their victory at Station Office RYK, also felt delight and satisfied in collecting these prestigious awards like refrigerator, a washing machine, and a mobile set. These prizes surely filled their emotions, energies, and spirit, making them appear overly thrilled and determined to win the National awards in July 2024.

Ms. Sara Baig sets new Record
Ms. Sara Baig has reached a big milestone by obtaining the Highest Sentiments Award for the fifth time. She expresses her heartfelt gratitude to the Sentiments team and her manager, Mr. Nadir Malik, for acknowledging and praising her performance during the occasion. This year’s honor is especially significant because she generated 1.5 million in sales in a single day, breaking her own record and making this her most profitable year yet. Reflecting on this journey, it is clear that devotion, strategic thought, and a thorough understanding of client demands were critical. Each award, milestone, and delighted client has fueled her desire to push the boundaries and create new standards.

Successful Repair and Return
On May 24, the vehicle shown below was involved in an accident that caused considerable damage to the prime mover. The case was then brought to the insurance company for repairs under the policy. Now, we have received the vehicle back, fully repaired and operational.

Grow and Win Campaign
Mr. Feroze Ahmed along with Sohail Pervez had sessions with Couriers, Operation & Sales staff on “Grow & Win” campaign at Islamabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala and Lahore. During these sessions Mr. Feroze Ahmed also distributed certificates to winners & top performers. Now International division is also part of this campaign.

Lahore Operations Expands Fleet
The Lahore (LHE) Operations have recently expanded with the addition of five more rented vehicles, bringing the total number of TCS branded new vehicles operating in the LHE Express Operations to ten. This significant increase in the fleet is expected to enhance the efficiency and reach of our services, ensuring timely and reliable deliveries. This expansion not only boosts our operational capacity but also reinforces our presence and brand visibility in the region, positioning TCS for greater success in the competitive logistics industry.

Training on Accurate Weight Determination
The recent training session was designed to educate employees on the importance of accurate weight determination, understand the causes of weight discrepancies, and learn procedures for addressing and preventing them. The session began with an overview of why accurate weight determination is crucial and the potential consequences of discrepancies. Employees learned best practices for using weighing equipment, as well as the importance of regular calibration, maintenance, and validation processes.

Training on preventing Workplace Harassment
The training session aimed to educate employees on the critical importance of maintaining a harassment-free workplace. Participants gained a thorough understanding of the various types of harassment, including verbal, nonverbal, physical, sexual harassment, and bullying, both in-person and online. The session also covered how to recognize harassment through real-life examples and scenarios, emphasizing the significant impact such behavior has on individuals and the organization.

Pakistan has a rich history in sports, particularly in cricket, field hockey, and squash. The country has won several international championships, including the Cricket World Cup in 1992 and multiple World Squash Championships. TCS has signed a three-year contract with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), demonstrating its continued commitment to sports and cricket in Pakistan.

Cross-Functional Session
These cross functional sessions are held with Express, International, and Freight, COD & Retail sales team in Islamabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala & Lahore. Director International Mr. Feroze Ahmed explained about cross selling targets, training session in which different departments are involved. The discussion emphasized the necessity of removing silos and encouraging a collaborative approach to addressing corporate difficulties. By encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing, participants were able to uncover synergies across diverse functions and design integrated solutions that drove overall success.

Driving License Issuance Activity
On 2nd and 3rd July’2024, a two-day activity was organized in association with the government, during which traffic police officers were invited to assist individuals in obtaining driving licenses. This initiative took place at the TCS area office in PEW, providing valuable support to those who did not previously have a license or if their license was expired.
