Leading Change: Insights from the Executive Director

On Monday, March 11, 2024, at FM91 Pakistan, Mr. Qasim Awan made an appearance on “Pro on the Go with Navin Waqar” to talk about how TCS Private Limited and the Pakistan Cricket Board have a significant collaboration that improves the ticket purchasing experience. He also emphasized TCS’s wide network throughout Pakistan, which helps small SME and female entrepreneurs grow.

International Women’s Day

In order to celebrate International Women’s Day 2024 with pride, TCS held a workshop on 8th March’24 where President Ms. Saira Awan, CEO Mr. Moin Malik, CFO Ms. Muneeza Kassim and Head of Sentiments Express and Studio by TCS Ms. Sahar Ahmad spoke to the female employees and recognized their contributions made and the challenges they face in advancing their corporate careers. They talked about the value of equality and diversity throughout the company and gave them assurance that everyone can work in a safe, secure, and merit-based environment.

Italian Visa Application Centers in Pakistan

The inauguration ceremonies took place on March 4th in Islamabad with the Ambassador’s presence, on March 6th in Lahore with the Head of Consulate, and on March 8th in Karachi with the Consul General of Italy. Residents from the northern and central regions can submit their passports at the centers in Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan. Meanwhile, those in Sindh can utilize the Karachi center, and individuals in Baluchistan can submit their passports at the Quetta center.

A classical musical night sponsored by TCS at National Museum from 1st – 3rd March 2024 where classical performers were promoting their talent in music. This was a three day event where TCS had a chance to promote their brand image and its services.

Visa Roundtable Conference

Visa Leadership roundtable discussion: navigating the future of digital B2b payments in Pakistan, was scheduled on February, 27, 2024. The roundtable is expected to provide an extensive discussion on forming the digital payment ecosystem, with Visa leading the way in enabling this shift. Chain-store Association of Pakistan

A conference held on 13th Feb’24 at PC Lahore where TCS explored the wide possibilities of cross-border e-commerce with pride by establishing a connection with the Chain-store Association of Pakistan. A crucial meeting revealed Pakistani fashion and retail firms’ pressing desire for international exposure, driven by the nation’s economic environment.

Boosting Morale: GCEO visit for Encouragement

Prior to the HBL PSL 09 Final Match in 2024, the GCEO visited National Bank Stadium and met with all of the employees performing their respective duties. This demonstrated the management’s sincere thanks and devotion to the execution team.

Breaking down the barriers

In fields that have historically been dominated by men, female couriers are breaking down barriers in Islamabad area and dispelling preconceptions. Their tenacity and fortitude are changing attitudes and opening doors for more gender inclusiveness. Their contributions will encourage others to follow their passions in spite of social expectations and serve as a demonstration of their abilities. Three females in Islamabad who are working as couriers are empowering role models who show that everyone can succeed in any industry they choose, regardless of gender.

My name is Natasha and I am tasked with sharing this special issue of Big Leap – about exciting things happening within our company. Packed with bite-sized nuggets of information, these series of special issues aims to keep you in the loop and excited about what’s going on behind the scenes at TCS.

But we need your help to make it truly exciting and special!

Here are some ideas for what you can contribute:

Stories. Share on-the-ground experiences, challenges overcome, or impressive feats accomplished by colleagues in the course of their duty. A tricky delivery, a creative solution to a problem, a customer’s problem solved-uniquely, we want to hear about it. In small bytes and photographs please. ‘Remember a picture speaks more than a thousand words’.

Did you know? Share interesting tidbits about our industry, company history or even fun facts about the cities/towns we operate in. Let’s surprise each other with information that is relatively unknown.

Shine a spotlight on your colleagues! Nominate someone whose hard work, dedication, or unique talents deserve recognition. Let’s celebrate the people who make our company great.
